When Daniel isn’t on a jobsite, family comes first. He and his wife, Addyson, are raising their nine-year-old daughter, Aurelia. A self-admitted pushover when it comes to Aurelia, Daniel enjoys taking her to everything from Monster Jam and Lions games to concerts. He can also usually be convinced that she absolutely needs whatever collectible she currently has her eye on.
A lifelong Detroit sports fan, Daniel is especially devoted to the Detroit Lions and enjoys golfing whenever he gets the chance. He’s also rarely far from his two American Bullies, Tank and Carhartt, who are beloved members of the family.
Daniel is a member of the Royal Oak VFW and remains connected to the veteran community that played such an important role in shaping his life.
After his military service, Daniel spent years working for larger concrete companies. Over time, he saw how easily the personal connection between contractor and customer could get lost as companies grew. When he started Captain Concrete, he wanted to do things differently.
Daniel has an exceptionally strong attention to detail and genuinely enjoys helping customers take an idea and turn it into something tangible. Whether it’s a homeowner envisioning a new driveway, patio, or custom outdoor space, or a commercial client with a much larger project, he believes customers deserve to feel heard and involved throughout the process.
Captain Concrete was built around the idea that quality craftsmanship and personal service should go hand in hand. For Daniel, success isn’t simply about completing more jobs. It’s about building a company his family can be proud of, earning the trust of the people who hire him, and never losing the personal touch that inspired him to start Captain Concrete in the first place.
